Parent help is invaluable. It also gives parents a chance to see what their children learn in Playgroup and for staff and parents to get to know each other. In addition parent support during the session is greatly appreciated.
Every half term, a rota for helping at Playgroup is distributed with the Newsletter. Please spend the morning helping at Playgroup on your assigned day(s), or swap helper days with another parent, if your assigned dates are inconvenient.

We are a community playgroup with charitable status, run by a committee of parents with children attending the playgroup.
The committee is responsible for the constitution and policies, employing and paying the staff, and fund raising. The constitution and policies are available for parents to read as required.
All parents are encouraged to attend the Annual General Meeting held in the Summer Term, where the new committee is elected. We need new committee members each year and would be pleased to welcome you on board!
We actively promote parental involvement in the playgroup and run a rota system for parent helpers. This provides a valuable insight into playgroup activites as well being a lot of fun.
Forthcoming events and activities are posted on the notice board in the lobby area and regular newsletters are sent home for your information.
Note: All committee members must undergo DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) checks.
